Welcome
Greetings! And welcome to Advanced Placement Human Geography. I’m really looking forward to working with you during our class together. I hope it proves useful (and perhaps even inspiring and encouraging?) as you prepare to teach your own APHG course.

Susan W. Hardwick, Ph.D.
You’ll note that we used the College Board’s APHG outline to structure this course from beginning to end. For each of the eight units in the class, you’ll find guides to reading assignments, helpful hints to complete all assigned computer-based activities, lists of key concepts, and a host of web-based resources (e.g. powerpoint lectures, units and lessons, and student assignments) to help you prepare your students to do well on the APHG exam.
Please let me know if any questions come up during our class together. I’m here to help guide you through this course as you continue your journey to become a top-notch Advanced Placement Human Geography teacher.
