Finding Metadata for Lane County GIS Data



The Regional Land Information Database of Lane County (RLID) provides descriptive information (metadata) for all GIS layers in Lane County, Oregon. Instructions and links for accessing this data are below.

Metadata can be accessed through RLID

• GIS layers are grouped by category (Environmental, Infrastructure, Land...)
• Select the applicable category
• Find and select the layer for which you need metadata
• A screen with descriptive information will appear (see example below)
• Use the "Detailed Description" and "Technical Overview" links (within the RLID site) in the left hand column for additional information (see example below).
