Troubleshooting Your ArcGIS Dongle



In some cases, an ArcGIS dongle may fail due to a Windows workstation not having the proper driver pre-installed. This document will walk you through the process of installing the correct driver.

Unplug your dongle and click the following link: [http://www.safenet-inc.com/support/tech/sentinel.asp] You should see the webpage pictured below. Click on Sentinel UltraPro





You should now be at the webpage pictured below. Click on the Download Driver link, as indicated below.



You will be prompted to download a file called "Sentinel_Protection_Installer_7.4.0.zip". Save this to your desktop. Unzip this file and run the "Sentinel Protection Installer 7.4.0.exe" file. If you are prompted to edit your firewall settings, do so. Follow the simple install steps below.















After this install completes sucessfully, plug the dongle back in. Your dongle is now ready for use.
