SSIL

The Social Science Instructional Labs (SSIL) are PC-based computer labs designed to assist faculty, staff and students with innovative instructional technology applications in the social sciences. Our facilities include computer classrooms designed to maximize technology and education.

 

The Labs

We specialize in providing the university community with access to statistics software and GIS software in addition to general applications, web publishing tools, and desktop publishing. Our labs are available for instructional use, general purpose computing, and special workshops and training events.


McKenzie 442: 32 stations + instructor station
McKenzie 445: 23 stations + instructor station
Advanced Lab: Graduate and research work only, 8 stations

Fall / Winter / Spring :

Monday - Thursday:   8:00 am - 11:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Saturday:  11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday:   11:00 am - 11:00 pm

 

SSIL will be closed:
Nov 23-26 for Thanksgiving vacation
Dec 9 - Jan 8 for Winter Holiday
Jan 15 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday
March 26-30 for Spring vacation
May 26-28 Memorial Day holiday
